Bank Respublika team has won the first interbank basketball tournament held between May 17-27, 2010.

Four banks – the International Bank of Azerbaijan, UniBank, PashaBank and Bank Respublika participated in the first interbank tournament. All games were held in H.Aliyev’s sports and concert complex. Bank Respublika basketball team won 5 out of 6 games and became the champion.

Bank Respublika forward Arif Nasirov was announced the best player by fans and organizers of the basketball tournament.

The tournament was organized by the Specialized Basketball Center of the Basketball Federation of Azerbaijan for the purposes of encouragement of healthy lifestyle and establishment of relations between employees of various organizations.
