Additional Services

Virtual e-PIN

E-PIN service allows you to set the PIN code you want for the payment card through the bank's WEB page when ordering at Bank Respublika.

This service is free and carried out in a completely secure manner. Setting the PIN code by the cardholder reduces the possibility of forgetting it in the future. To use the PIN code set with the WEB, in POS-terminal transactions, the customer must first activate the PIN code through the ATM. For this, it is enough to carry out any operation (to check balance or cash out) at any ATM.

To set a PIN code for a newly ordered card, a customer needs to go to https://reg.azericard.com/pin_rsp/ and enter the card's information here. After entering the information, a code is sent to the cardholder via SMS. Then the customer completes the operation by writing the desired PIN code instead of the asterisks in this code.

To use this service, please select Cash by Code > Send money in an ATM menu. The next step is entering mobile phone number of the receiver and the amount of money to send.

The ATM will generate a special 2-part code. The first part will be printed for you and the second part will be sent to the receiver by SMS. To get the money, the receiver will have to ask you for the first part of the code and enter it together with the second part received by SMS. The code will remain valid for 24 hours.
The receiver can perform this transaction without a valid credit card. This service is available in Bank Respublika ATMs

3D Secure

3D Secure technology helps to prevent fraud and make your online transactions more secure.

Active Internet users oftentimes make online purchases with their credit cards. When making an online purchase the Internet user has to provide confidential data to websites of questionable reliability. Thus users are getting exposed to the risk of fraud. The risks are even higher if your card has been lost or stolen. Criminals will not have a problem using your card in the Internet as information required for online purchases appears on your credit card.

Holders of Bank Respublika’s MasterCard credit cards can now secure themselves against Internet fraud and significantly reduce the risk of potential losses by using 3D Secure service designed to be an added layer of security for online transactions.

The basic concept of the technology is to redirect client authentication to a secured webpage of AzeriCard processing center where a special 3D password shall be entered. It is only the card holder who knows the password and it is not specified on credit card.

When buying products or services from websites supporting 3D Secure standard, the client will be redirected to AzeriCard webpage and enter the 3D password.

To get your 3D password, please select List of One-time Passwords for Internet Banking and 3D Secure in ATM Menu, print the receipt with one-time passwords and pass registration at www.azericard.com/3d webpage. 3D password registration is free of charge.

Cash-to-Card

Cash-to-Card allows you to transfer funds to the card, without using the card itself. Money is instantly activated and becomes available on the card.

Cash-to-Card allows you to transfer funds to the card, without using the card itself. Money is instantly activated and becomes available on the card.

The advantage of this service is also the ability to deposit cash on a virtual card of the Bank of the Republic of Visa Virtuon.

A client who wants to use this service clicks on the upper right button on the Cash-in screen of the ATM. Having selected the “Cash-To-Card” operation, the client twice enters the 16-digit card number, selects the currency of the deposited funds and then deposits the money into the Cash-in receiver.

The advantage of this service is also the ability to deposit cash to the Visa Virtuon Republic's virtual card.

Pin change

PIN Change service allows plastic card holders to change their personal identification number (PIN) to any four-digit number.

Pin Change

This service is particularly useful for holders of several cards as remembering several PINs at once is not easy and comfortable. PIN code could be changed in any of Bank Respublika’s ATMs. The PIN Change service is available for all plastic cards issued by the Bank. To change the PIN code, you need to enter the Payment for Services Service PIN Change and enter the new PIN code.

When changing your PIN code, please select a combination of any four digits that you can easily remember. DO NOT enter a combination of recurring (1111) or sequential (1234) digits, as these combinations are easy to match. We also do not recommend to choose a single PIN code for all of your banking cards..

Cash-in

It is possible to use this service through cash-in ATMs, which, in addition to standard operations, allow holders of plastic cards of the Bank of the Republic to deposit cash into card accounts in manats and US dollars.

Funds credited through an ATM (Cash-İn) are available for use immediately after crediting.

Cash transactions in a currency other than the currency of the card account are converted at the rate of Azericard set by the Central Bank on the day of the transaction. After the transaction is completed, the amount is activated on the client’s card, but remains blocked and consists of a convertible amount, with a conversion fee of 0.5% and additional costs of blocking 1.5% (reducing the risk of currency exchange rates). After that, the amount will be debited. When the operation is performed before 14.00, the cancellation is made at the same rate. If the transaction is completed after 14:00, the amount is deducted at the rate established on the next business day (0.5% of the conversion fee is deducted and 1.5% is returned to the client's account).

Example:

  • The client deposits 1000 AZN to the card account opened at 14.15.
  • The trading day at the rate set by the Central Bank amounted to 1 US dollar = 1.0479 AZN.
  • The amount credited to the client's account (954.29-0.5%) - (954.29 * 1.5%) = 949.52-14.31 = 935.21 USD
  • The exchange rate was $ 1,047 at the rate set by the Central Bank.
  • Amount payable to the client 1000 / 1,047 = 955.11-0.5% = 950.33

Subscription to SMS Notification service lets you receive online notifications about the status of your card account.

SMS Notification service allows card holders to receive sms notifications about any transactions on their card, as well as card balance, which helps in better budget planning. This service is also useful for holders of salary cards, who will receive instant notification about settlement of funds into their accounts.
