Holders of Bank Respublika’s Mastercard and Visa credit cards can now secure themselves against Internet fraud and significantly reduce the risk of potential losses by using 3D Secure service designed to be an added layer of security for online transactions.
The basic concept of this technology is that the customer's authentication is carried out only by logging into the Mobil Şöbə application on the customer's device or by using a special "3D" one-time password that is not recorded on the card and is received via SMS.
- Confirmation of the transaction via 3D Secure Push:
To confirm online card payments on your mobile device, it is enough to download the Mobil Şöbə application from the AppStore or GooglePlay. It is possible to confirm or decline the transaction by switching to Mobil Şöbə via Push notification received on the mobile device. This ensures that the transaction is authorized by the legitimate cardholder, not by fraudsters.
Important: To complete the transaction, return to the payment page after confirming the payment.
- 3D One-Time Password received via SMS
In order to securely confirm the transaction, you can select a one-time SMS password on the "3D Secure Authentication" page in addition to 3D Secure Push. The payment will be successfully completed after confirmation of the one-time password sent to the customer's mobile number.
3D Secure service is free and cardholders do not pay any fees for using this service.
